To commemorate the 35th anniversary of the Nike Dunk Low, the Dunk Low Retro SP Kentucky has been released, featuring a classic color scheme inspired by Nike’s ‘Be True to Your School’ series from 1985.
This iconic high-top basketball shoe has been updated into a versatile low-top design, with a white leather upper and royal blue overlays. The Dunk Low Retro SP Kentucky also features a breathable mesh tongue with a woven Nike tag, as well as a second Nike logo on the heel tab.
Released as a collegiate sneaker, Nike Dunks can now be found on the feet of celebrities and commoners alike. Limited editions like the Off White Dunks, from the 2019 collab between Nike and Virgil Abloh’s design label Off-White, further cemented Dunks’ place in sneaker folklore.
